Our Story
Sourdough Nest by Viola began in a regular home kitchen, where Viola loved experimenting with new recipes. Being gluten sensitive herself, Viola discovered that sourdough bread and sourdough-based recipes worked well with her system. Inspired by how much better she felt, she wanted to share sourdough with others — helping people enjoy healthier options while still having access to delicious, comforting food right here in Star Valley.
With the support of her husband Stockton and their family, what started as a home project has grown into a storefront bakery where the community can gather, enjoy fresh bread, cinnamon rolls, cookies, and hearty breakfasts, and feel at home.
Born and raised in Star Valley, Viola is excited to give back to the place she loves by sharing her passion for baking with friends, neighbors, and visitors alike.
